Fund managers to invest in social housing

Britain's recently formed quango, the Homes and Communities Agency, has held talks with leading fund managers to build social housing across the UK. Localis welcomes this approach, and believes that it is vitally important that the private sector begins to realise the vast potential there is in social and environmental investment, but there is still a long way to go.
