Mitigating Economic Crisis Impact through Local Government Initiatives

The economic crisis and housing crash will continue to impact the US and global economies for the immediate and foreseeable future. Many proposals and initiatives have been considered and are being implemented to lessen the impact of the crisis on individuals, particularly those of the greatest need. The initiatives implemented in New York are valuable in studying and considering what steps should be taken to mitigate the impact of the crisis in other localities.
