Facing the Future

Local Government's Response to the CSR

A new report and survey by Localis says that councils will have to deliver better services for less money, and that a salami-slicing, business as usual approach will not suffice. This is among the key conclusions from of a survey conducted by Localis, the local government and localist think-tank. It was completed by over a quarter of all council Finance Directors across England, the results of which form the basis of a new short report released today by Localis.
