Report launch | The Delivery of an Industrial Strategy

Does the government have a plan to create a more prosperous England?

Report launch | The Delivery of an Industrial Strategy

Join us on Monday 26th March for the launch of our new report The Delivery of an Industrial Strategy. The report puts forward ideas for how places can improve their rates of productivity and living standards as part of their local industrial strategies. It argues that England’s cities and counties can take more responsibility for their local economy by devising plans around labour markets, good jobs and their commercial commons.

But how committed is the government to delivering a reforming industrial strategy? Is there enough fresh-thinking to tackle the constraints to growth and brakes on living standards in all corners of England? Has the task of Brexit crowded out the most important part of the Prime Minister’s domestic policy agenda?

We will launch our new report by asking these questions as part of a panel debate. The event will include a Q&A with report copies and refreshments provided. Speakers will be announced shortly

Hopefully you will be able to join us.
