Garden Villages survey

In collaboration with the think tank Policy Exchange, we recently conducted a survey of local authority members and officials on their appetite for Garden Villages. In their report of last year, Policy Exchange suggested giving local authorities the equivalent of the New Towns Act powers to designate sites for new Garden Villages of between 1,500 and 5,000 homes, as part of their local plan.

The survey was sent to officers and members across England and answered by 128 people and results and analysis can be read here in this blog piece on Conservative Home.
